The Culminating C

Christian Louboutin is a name synonymous to fashion. Known for his iconic red soles, Christian Louboutin has been a trend setter and leader since he debut in the 1990's. He single handedly brought stilettos back into style with heel heights of 4.5 inches and higher. Even though he does offer some lower-heeled styles, Christian Louboutin is generally associated with his formal and evening wear designs. The following shoes are featured in his Spring 2010 collection. (Images via and via)

Is This A New Trend?

Finally the fashion world is having a strong influence in the hip hop world. Lately baggy jeans hanging off their butt and over sized shirts with the latest jordans are being replaced with tailored fit jeans and button down shirts with a good pair of loafers (a small step but progress indeed). And it looks like some fashion houses are helping my brothers make the transition to high fashion; with Christian Louboutin trailblazing the way. Christian Louboutin has released a new collection of shoes geared to the fashion conscious male. The Rollerball (displayed above) is by Christian Louboutin and have been seen rap icons like Kanye West and Swizz Beatz. The Louis a high fashion sneaker is also a must have in any guys wardrobe. If I had that special someone he would definitely be getting these for his birthday (assuming I had the money lol). Check the jump for more pics.

The Alphabet Starts with the Letter A

For the next 26 weeks I will feature shoe designers starting with the subsequent letter of the week. And who not better to start this mini-series off than the Late Great Alexander McQueen.

Luckily for us Alexander McQueen finished, or nearly completed his Spring/Summer collection before he passed away. They always say that you have to go out with a bang, and he did. Definitely setting the trend for this summer, the preview of his last collection never ceases to amaze anyone. Here is a preview of his SP/2010 line.
