- take small slow steps
- heels down first, then toes (never at the same time)
- learn how to transfer your weight so you can stay on balance
- walk with your toes pointing straight ahead
- keep your legs straight close and parallel
- practice walking on different types of surfaces, indoors and outdoors
Regardless of the height of your heels, take extra caution to keep your balance, and always give your feet a break. Nothing feels better than flat feet after spending the entire day on your feet in heels.
